Fit4Mom

April 21, 2017 by naptimetales Leave a Comment

I may be in the minority here, but I love to workout!   It gives me energy, releases endorphins, and boosts my confidence.   It goes beyond that though; I want to be healthy and happy for myself and my kids!

As a mom of four little ones I am BUSY.   And that may be an understatement.  Between taking care of a baby, toddler, and two school age children I find myself struggling  to loose the last bit of baby weight.  I was going to the gym but I was craving a safe place to workout with other moms who were in the same boat!  You know, the extra skin in the belly, nursing boobs, pelvic floor issues….

I heard about Fit4Mom from a girlfriend who had been attending Body Back classes.   She was loving the workouts, making new friends, and seeing results.   Her results were visible and I wanted to try it out too!  I was ready to get my “body back”.

I joined Fit4Mom’s Body Back Class eight weeks ago.  We started the beginning of the 8 weeks with measurements, a weigh in, and fitness assessment.  Let me tell you, those push ups and sit ups were HARD!

We met twice a week for 8 weeks.  No babies.  No judgment   Every mom was on their own journey.  Some of us had a love for fitness and others did not.  Some moms could do a push up and others needed modification.  The one thing we all had in common was that we were taking a time out from diapers, bottles and house chores to do something healthy for ourselves!

Our coach modified workouts to make it easier or harder for each individual.  She put on fun music and we were encouraged by one another.  She gave us tips and suggestions on meal planning and water consumption.   (I really needed to up the water consumption as I tend to go drink too much coffee throughout the day and then move onto wine as the kids are winding down.)

At the end of the 8 week session we had a post assessment.  Across the board we lost inches, weight and increased our strength and endurance.     It was so fun to see everyones transformation.

Click here to see where the nearest Fit4Mom is for you.   If you live in the Plainfield, Oswego, Shorewood area I can hook. you. up!!   Just shoot me a message=)   Body Back is not the only great fitness program they offer–they also offer Stroller Strides, Stroller Barre, and Fit4Mom.        Get yourself healthy!      YOU are worth it!
