We have sent the kids back to school, our Christmas trees are taken down, and ALL the new toys have found homes.
Ash and I have been reflecting on how awesome 2015 was for us personally and professionally. We accomplished almost all of our goals we set for ourselves.
I love New Years! Its a time for reflection, empowerment, reset, and goals. I don’t love to make Resolutions because they tend to be broken. Rather, I prefer to make goals. I like to start exactly where I am in each category and build UP from there.
We wanted to share some of our personal/professional goals with you to help hold us accountable.
-Take more pictures of the kids.
-Document moments in time
-Catch up (and START) baby books
-Print and organize pictures
-Make photo books from each year for each kid.
-Clean out/organize storage closet and craft area
-Grow Naptime Tales
-Set aside time each day to read and reflect on Savor, the 365 day devotional
-Blog more about my life….lifestyle posts are what I am attracted to and passionate about. Why not write about it??
-Continue to workout and stay active 5-6 days a week…this is not just for weight loss purposes but because it energizes me, prepares my mind and helps me focus.
-Focus on growing as an individual. Gaining more self confidence, independence, and believing in my self worth.
-Continue to grow my Rodan+Fields business
-Grow as a believer and develop a more intimate relationship with God. Grow as a wife and work WITH my husband as a team in all areas of our marriage and life. Grow as a mother to spend more quality time with my kids each day and create more memories, no matter how simple or complex.
– Complete a 2016 daily photo challenge via Tiny Dreams Photography.
– Take more pics of my family.
– Get the house organized.
– Minimize the “fluff” in my house and wardrobe.
– Make the East Coast our home: become members of a church, go out for kid free fun with friends and do fun things with the kids.
-Blog more lifestyle topics on Naptime Tales.
– Network with some bloggers in my area.
– Get more sleep (this is the least likely thing to happen on my list).
What are your goals for the New Year? We’d love to hear them!
