I can’t believe my little girl graduated preschool last month. Wasn’t I JUST worrying about her STARTING school? 🙁 She’s growing so fast.
Her school had a small ceremony for the kids. They each got to wear graduation caps, listen to a story about school and then they got called up to receive a ribbon sticker and a certificate.
I have to point out that little brother didn’t like not being the center of attention. He pouted in the hallway almost the whole time.
Apparently she didn’t feel like smiling for the group photo. So EVERY SINGLE PARENT that was taking pictures got this grumpy girl in the middle. Wednesday Adams? Is that you?
After a few threats/bribes…she was all smiles.
We adore her teachers. These ladies really took great care of her and helped her love school. It is important to us that our kids find a love for learning early and we are very thankful for two great teachers that support that mission.
Time for a little throwback. This was last year’s first and last day of preschool picture:
And now for this school year’s installment:
Note- she was NOT in the picture taking mood on her last day so I didn’t have time to position her correctly…so notice her “last day” is actually before her first. It’s driving me nuts but tells the “real” story of what it is like to try and get pictures before school…impossible. That’s what happens when the females in the house are NOT morning people.
Not to be out done, here is Mr. Showoff.
And now that I have these pictures done, summer can start. We will sleep in EVERY morning. We will relax every afternoon. We will go outside and get wet or dirty every single chance we get. And we will not once, not ONE TIME, say/whine the words “it’s too hoooooooot out”. Not. Once.
Because kindergarten (and winter) is right around the corner.
