The fabulous Treffly took us out to The Morton Arboretum for maternity pictures over Mothers Day weekend. I do not love getting my picture taken but was super happy with how these turned out!!
I am especially in love with how she captured kids playing and our family “in the moment”.
At 34 weeks I felt AWESOME!
Since then…it has been a different story. At 34.5 weeks I had a gush of fluid come out and was up all night with heavy contractions. (I knew it wasn’t my water breaking….but I also knew it wasn’t ‘normal’….but when you are on your third child and in your third trimester, things happen to you that you just don’t understand.) My husband was in FL on business and he wasn’t supposed to come home till TH. He changed his flight to Wednesday night only for it to be delayed. He finally got home at 2am! The contractions finally calmed down by 4:30am and I was able to sleep for a few hours. The next morning I called my doctor and they sent me into the L/D. I was monitored and my fluid levels were checked (normal). Contractions were not consistent or as intense at this point so I was sent home to rest.
Ever since then I feel like the baby has dropped into my pelvis. I have BH constantly and just don’t feel good. Regardless, I am trying to enjoy the rest of my pregnancy and relax. Oh…and this totally kicked our asses in gear to get ‘shit done’. We have installed the car seat, have the pack and play up, the crib put together, and have went through my sons old clothes and washed what we could reuse. We are in a MUCH better place!
I will be 37 weeks on Friday. —Bring. It. On.
