Have you seen the Reasons My Son Is Crying blog? If not, check it out. It is the funniest thing I have ever seen and we can ALL relate.
Grandma WARNING- pictures of kids crying ahead. You’ve been warned.
Every parent goes through those weeks where we can’t do a single thing right. This week has been one of those weeks. I didn’t get picture from all these events but I think just a list and two pictures will say it all-
My daughter cried for 20 minutes because I was forcing her to eat a chocolate flavored peanut butter sandwich. Chocolate. Flavored. Peanut Butter. The horror.
My son cried for an hour because he woke up too early from nap and wouldn’t go back to sleep. In the mean time I would have paid someone 1 million dollars to let me take a nap. Why is sleep so hard for kids?
My daughter cried because she got a tiny drop of water on her sock. She threw herself to the floor, put her feet in the air and screamed bloody murder because her sock was wet. When I told her to take it off she said she couldn’t because it was “just too wet to touch”. The water came from her lip when she took a sip out of her cup and couldn’t wipe her mouth fast enough.
My son cried because I would not let him put his hands in the toilet. Then he cried even more when I wouldn’t let him stick his face in it.
I battled with my daughter for 15 minutes about the temperature of her bath water. First too hot, then too cold. Then it was too full…then not full enough. When she got out (FINALLY) she wanted me to put lotion on her but the bottle was in her sleeping brother’s room. End of the world situation right there.
The boy cried for almost 20 minutes. Bloody murder. He didn’t want his bedroom door shut, but he didn’t want it open either.
I can only hope that I don’t disappoint my kids anymore next week. Until then…TGIF!
