I LOVE organization! Bringing baby home to an organized nursery was always a priority for me. I knew that once baby was here the last thing I wanted to do was organize and try to figure out how where I put things.
After having two babies, I found that having an organized nursery BEFORE I bring the baby homes makes my life a whole easier and more time for snuggles!
Tips for Organizing Your Baby’s Nursery To Make Your Life Easier:
-Have diapers and wipes in a basket next to the diaper changing table.
-Keep a night stand next to a rocking chair. Keep a burp cloth and blanket for baby and a glass of water for you!
-Keep a pillow or bobby next to your rocker so you can nurse easily or have a pillow to rest your arm.
-Put a waterproof pad under babies sheet.
-Keep an extra sheet in the nursery.
Tips for Organizing Your Baby’s Clothes:
-Keep infant nightgowns (my favorite) in one pile in your drawers.
Such as, Gerber Baby-Girls Newborn Gown
-Keep foot pajamas in another pile in your drawer.
-Keep baby’s “play clothes” in one drawer. (All organized by size) NB, 0-3month, 3-6month, ect.
-Hang babies clothes by size. Keep your current size at the front of your closet.
Use door hangers to separate clothes by size.
Tips for Organizing Your Baby’s Hair Bows:
Now we are talking!!!
-I love this hair bow holder!
-Organize your headbands!
-And please, mommies, do not shove your baby’s bows in a bucket. They will get smashed and you will never use the bottom bows!
