TWO Thanksgiving dinners. That is what I ate today. I am not complaining…(minus the, “I am going to gain 5 pounds”…”I can barely breathe”…). BUT really, I know these two huge meals are for my benefit. It means I will be well nourished for my marathon in a few hours.
Shopping Marathon that is.
Who is joining me??
It is a day where women and men all have the same goal. To strike a deal.
Really it isn’t too far off from preparing from an actual marathon (which I know all about since I just ran one).
Preparation: Study the ads, cut out coupons, check out the layout of all stores.
Nutrition: Eat multiple meals. Have your purse full of protein and water. (And maybe a 5 hour energy drink.)
Endurance: Get 2 nights of 8 hours of sleep prior to the big event. Rest is crucial.
My clothes are laid out. I am ready.
