I am a firm believer in pranking your kids at a young age. I grew up in a family full of crazies. In fact, we put more thought into April Fool’s Day than Christmas at this point. Having fun at someone else’s expense is kind of mean, but also really hilarious.
My daughter will be 3 in December and is still a little young to understand/appreciate most pranks. We tease a lot and she’s starting to get the hang of teasing back. We laugh a lot in this house and love every minute of it.
Last year I stumbled upon this clip from Jimmy Kimmel’s show. He asked parents to take a video of their kids the morning after Halloween while telling them that their candy was gone. The two boys at the end are the BEST!
Will you try this with your kids next year? I’m honestly a little scared of the consequences haha!!
