One thing I’m learning as a Mom is that giving is WAAAAAAAY better than receiving. I’ve always enjoyed giving birthday and holiday gifts to family and friends, but there is something so special about watching your own child open a present. It just makes my heart so happy.
8. Don’t be afraid to make a “does not need” list in addition to your child’s normal Christmas list. This will help your family know what they already have (or received in mass quantities the year before) or what they don’t need more of (can we say stuff animals?). This will save you from spending time in return lines and it will also make your families feel good that they are getting stuff your kids actually want or need. A win win!
